Gold Vermeil

Vermeil is a gold plating technique used on fine jewelry. Vermeil jewelry is durable and more affordable than solid gold. To be called vermeil, it must have a base layer of sterling silver and a thick layer of 2.5 microns of gold. Pronounced vehr-may, it is a French process. After solid gold, gold vermeil is the highest quality type of gold tone available. Shown are a few styles in stock. Other designs coming soon.
